Strength work that actually sticks.
Husk Lab Vault is a small-group strength and conditioning gym where every session is logged, every lift is coached, and nothing gets skipped because it felt hard.

Ready to find out where you actually are?
Book a free trial session. You will do the movement screen, join a group class, and leave knowing exactly what your first 12-week block would look like.
Why people stay
- Every session is logged
- We track your lifts, your times, and your rest periods in a shared logbook. You always know exactly where you were last week and what you are aiming for today.
- Groups capped at 8
- Eight people per session, no exceptions. That is the number where a coach can actually watch everyone move and give a real cue, not just shout encouragement from across the room.
- Programming that runs in 12-week blocks
- We run structured 12-week strength cycles with a planned deload in week 10. You know what is coming, you can prepare for it, and you can see the progress across the block.
- Open floor on Saturdays
- Saturday mornings are uncoached open floor from 8:00 to 11:00. Come in, follow your own plan, use the space. No booking required for members.

Which training option fits your situation?
Three questions to help you figure out which of our training formats makes the most sense for where you are right now.
"Helen Micklewright spent six years as a strength coach at a large commercial gym before opening Husk Lab Vault in 2019. She holds a NSCA-CPT personal training certification and a specialist certificate in barbell strength coaching. Before going into fitness, she worked briefly in logistics, which is where she picked up the habit of tracking everything in writing. She has competed in powerlifting at regional level and currently trains four mornings a week before the gym opens. Her programming philosophy is straightforward: do the boring stuff consistently, log it honestly, and adjust based on what the numbers say rather than how you feel on the day."
Common questions
Q.Do I need to be fit already to start?
No. The movement screen on day one is specifically designed to find out where you are starting from, not to test whether you are ready. We have had members join who had not trained in a decade. The programming scales to the individual within the group, and the coach adjusts loads and movements in real time.
Q.How do I pay and can I pause my membership?
Membership is billed monthly by direct debit on the first of each month. We do not offer pauses as a standard option, but if you are dealing with an injury or a life event, get in touch and we will work something out. We have done it before and we are not rigid about it.
