Terms
Terms of use
These terms apply to this website and to training at Husk Lab Vault in Kamiitabashi. Reading the site commits you to nothing; a training agreement starts when you book a paid session or a block and we confirm it.
Memberships and blocks
Small-group membership is sold as a 12-week block at three or two coached sessions a week, on the Monday, Wednesday and Friday timetable. Blocks start on a fixed date; joining mid-block is charged pro rata. One-to-one coaching is sold per session or in fours. Prices are in Japanese yen and include consumption tax.
Booking, waitlist and cancellation
Sessions are booked in advance because each group is capped at eight. You may cancel up to twelve hours before a session. A later cancellation or a no-show counts as a used session. If a session is full you can join the waitlist and will be told by email if a place opens.
Freezing or ending
A block can be frozen once for up to two weeks for injury or travel; the end date moves accordingly. Blocks are not refundable after the first session, but an unused block can be transferred to another person once. To stop renewing, tell us in writing before the last week of the current block.
The movement screen
Every new member completes a movement screen on day one. A coach may decline to load a movement, substitute it, or ask for a doctor's note before you train if the screen shows something that needs checking. The screen is included in the first block and available on its own for the fee on the services page.
Coaching, load and your responsibility
Coaches set loads and progressions from your logbook; you tell them about pain, illness, medication or anything that changed since the last session. Coaching lowers risk but cannot remove it. You train at your own risk within the limits your coach sets and agree to stop when asked.
Session conduct
Arrive before the warm-up starts. Wear flat-soled shoes on the platform. Strip and rerack your bar. Do not film other members. A coach may remove anyone whose behaviour puts others at risk, without refund.
The free trial
One free trial per person, taken in a live group session so that you see how the coaching ratio works. The movement screen is done in the first fifteen minutes of the trial. Trials are booked like any other session and follow the same twelve-hour cancellation rule.
Guests and the Saturday floor
Coached weekday groups are members-only because of the cap of eight. The Saturday morning open floor accepts drop-ins who have been screened here before, paid per session, and members may bring one screened guest to it each month.
Online programming
Remote programming is delivered as a written plan and coach check-ins. It assumes you have been screened in person or by video and is not medical advice. Results depend on what you do with it.
Waiting list priority
When a place opens in a full group, it is offered first to members already on the same block, then to people on the waitlist in the order they joined it. An offer stays open for twelve hours before moving to the next person.
Prices and changes
Prices on the services page are current. If they change, members are told at least thirty days before their next block.
Content and photographs
Everything published here is our own work. Link to it freely; ask before reproducing it. Photographs of members are only published with their written agreement.
Limits of responsibility
To the extent permitted by Japanese law, our liability for any loss connected with training or with this site is limited to the fees you paid for the block in question.
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of Japan. Disputes are brought before the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
